Alfred Addis is a writer and director based in London, UK. After graduating from his MA in Creative and Life Writing from Goldsmiths, London, where he was nominated for the Pat Kavanagh Prize, he thereafter transitioned to writing screenplays and directing. Mãe, his first short film, was produced in 2022-23, and is currently screening at film festivals across the UK and Europe. He is currently in pre-production on a third short film. His work explores the space where race, immigration and nationality intersect.
